Evergreen Way Signals

Kersey Way - The Kersey 3 Subdivision project in Auburn created the need for a traffic signal at this intersection by constructing a new eastbound approach (Evergreen Way) to the existing intersection of Kersey Way with 53rd Street SE. The project included widening of Kersey Way and a major realignment of the 53rd Street SE westbound approach.
 
Lakeland Hills Way SE - TSI designed the traffic signal and channelization to convert the existing all-way stop intersection to a signalized intersection. New traffic from the Kersey 3 Subdivision project created the need for this project, which included removal of a section of existing median island to create opposing left turn pockets. The existing curbs, gutters and sidewalks were retained. The traffic signal poles and foundations were placed to minimize disturbance of existing infrastructure including underground utilities while still maintaining ADA criteria.
