Good Samaritan Road Projects

TSI’s work with Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup included not only preparing the transportation element of their master plan and the subsequent environmental review documentation but also included preparing roadway designs for new campus accesses and adjacent roadways. Work included designing Puyallup's first roundabout as well as stop controlled intersections and channelization improvements at vital intersections. A key challenge was to design a roundabout with conflicting grades on road approaches and maintaining access during construction. TSI also designed the roadway illumination and signage for the roundabout.
