King County Libraries

KCLS, Redmond– TSI conducted parking studies at this branch to document parking needs for new libraries. The study not only included parking utilization but gathered information on how utilization fluctuated during the day and into the evening.
 
KCLS, Burien– TSI conducted parking studies at the old branch library and also developed the traffic analysis for the new library, which shares building space and parking supplies with Burien City Hall.
 
KCLS, Newcastle– TSI developed the traffic analysis for this new library and worked extensively with City staff to resolve access issues onto a busy adjacent arterial.
 
KCLS, Federal Way– This library is expanding and work underway includes preparation of a feasibility assessment and discussion with City staff to identify traffic related issue prior to preparation of a traffic analysis.
 
KCLS, Tukwila– TSI has completed an evaluation of site alternative for this new branch to identify opportunities and constraints for different alternatives. Once a site developer is selected, TSI will prepare a traffic analysis for the project.
