TSI, as a modeling subconsultant, developed, calibrated, and analyzed a Vissim microsimulation model for the I-5 / NE 179th Street interchange in Clark County. The Vissim model will be used to evaluate the anticipated performance of the I-5 / NE 179th Street interchange under planned improvement alternatives, including ramp metering, ramp realignment, and roundabout control. TSI coordinated with David Evans and Associates, WSDOT, Southwest Washington Regional Transportation Council, and Clark County to ensure consistency with local, regional, and state goals and policies.
