As part of the site development plan for this project in the City of Tacoma and Town of Ruston, TSI prepared roadway plans for a segment of Ruston Way to be relocated. Work included preparing channelization designs for the road segment including two roundabouts, site accesses, and an adjacent multi-use trail. Signage and illumination plans were also prepared. TSI worked extensively with the local jurisdictions in developing the roundabout designs to ensure that they met the needs of development and through traffic as well as satisfying WSDOT design standards. Construction has been completed on this project.
