As part of access to properties being developed north of SR 20 at Glasgow Way, just east of the Anacortes Ferry Terminal, TSI was engaged to evaluate site access onto SR 20. Our work included evaluating intersection operations, developing design alternatives for constructing turn lanes, a traffic signal and a roundabout, and assessing how the affected developers would pay for and construct the proposed improvement in phases. TSI worked with both the developers, City of Anacortes and WSDOT who approved interim channelization improvements (turn lanes) that would be followed by future signalization.
