TSI worked on the Master Plan EIS for this mixed-use development, which includes a mix of residential, office, entertainment and retail components. This project reclaims land formerly occupied by a copper smelting plant near Point Defiance. Our work has included providing engineering and planning services to forecast future traffic conditions and site access operations. As part of the development TSI is assisting with the design of two roundabouts proposed at site accesses along Ruston Way. TSI incorporated into those designs forecasted traffic volumes, fastest path analyses, roadway and approach grades, and roundabout approach design parameters.
